What made the experience of listening to Night Play the most enjoyable? I liked it and you don't need to enjoy this genre to find the story charming. It was a simple and charming love story with a bit of adventure and intrigue tossed in. The whole fantasy supernatural thing supported the plot and was not the main feature.

Don't overlook this one if you like a straightforward story that does not leave you feeling depressed or icky.

Delivered a solid good story that was well written. Characters were developed and dimensional. It's a "feel good" book without being sugary or simplistic. Bought it on sale because it looked light and fun. I'm not a sentimentalist and often roll my eyes over sappy story lines. It was sweet, straightforward and endearing. Come to think of it many of the secondary characters were interesting.ĭid you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry? Which character – as performed by Fred Berman – was your favorite? Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why? Was expecting fluff and got substance! Good story.
